Beacon Cottage

A charming terraced Victorian Grade II Listed cottage. Recently renovated, Beacon Cottage is furnished and decorated to complement its age and character.  It boasts a cosy living room with exposed beams and an open fire and a dining room with decorative original cast iron range. The kitchen has a door leading out into the sunny enclosed garden from which you can see the steam from the trains on the North York Moors Railway! The cottage is ideally positioned for the many attractions that Pickering has to offer and provides a superb base for exploring the North York Moors,  Yorkshire's Heritage Coast and the medieval city of York.

A superb holiday base for the whole family, the accommodation sleeps 4 people and, being adjacent to Castle Cottage can easily accommodate a party of 7or 8 if you take both cottages.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with basin, WC and bath with shower over. Fitted kitchen. Dining room. Cosy living room with open fire. Storage shed for Bikes etc.. Enclosed cottage garden with outside seating and barbecue. Roadside parking in front of the property.

Facilities

Full central heating with additional heating from open fire in living room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge (with icebox), dishwasher, colour TV with DVD player, Freeview box & CD player. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included. Bed linen included. Cot and highchair available on request. Shared access to washing machine. Dogs welcome. No smoking. Easy walking to shops, pubs & restaurants in Pickering. Towels are available for a extra charge.
